Overdue tax: Group Jeronimo Martins she paid EUR 30 million of TSAM tax – reports the Eco portal. Owner chain stores Ladybird for 12 years he appealed to the courts and refused to pay this tax. The group still considers the tax to be unlawful.

Tax complaint: In 2019, the Jeronimo Martins group filed complaint to the European Commission. “We are convinced about injustice TSAM tax. Taking into account the delay of the European Commission in making a decision (…) and since it is impossible to predict when such a decision may be made, it has been decided to proceed with full payment of all invoiced amounts,” the group said.
