Przemysław Plewiński (Trzecia Droga) was supposed to be the most serious rival of the president of Poznań, Jacek Jaśkowiak. According to the exit poll of the National Research Group for WTK from 9 p.m., Jacek Jaśkowiak won 43.97 percent. votes. In the second round he will face Zbigniew Czerwiński (United Right) – 17.92%. Third place was taken by Przemysław Plewiński (Trzecia Droga) – 15.31%, and fourth – with a slight loss – was Beata Urbańska (Nowa Lewica) – 14.9%. votes. 7.9% of voters voted for Łukasz Garczewski (Social Poznań). voters.

Plewiński considers his result a success anyway, because just a few three weeks ago he was “an unknown Przemek Plewiński”.

– In fact, the second round is already symbolic at this point, because we already know who will win. Yes, the PiS candidate will not win in Poznań – he said.

He added that he would definitely not support Zbigniew Czerwiński in the second round. – Election emotions in Poznań ended today – he said on WTK television.

Defeat also in the city council

Plewiński hoped that although he would not make it to the second round, he would win a councilor's seat, and Trzecia Droga would have a strong representation on the council. – I hope that thanks to our result – because I hope that our result for the city council will also be very good – we will introduce our own councilors and there will no longer be one group that will vote for Jacek Jaśkowiak, but finally there will be some discussion and, in fact, control, guarding Jacek Jaśkowiak – he said.

The Third Way candidate did not know the results of the city council poll yet. And these are different from his expectations. To the Poznań City Council 50.04 percent. votes were cast for the Civic Coalition, 15.81 percent. for the United Right, 14.17 percent for the New Left, 10.81 percent for the Third Way, 7.7 percent for Social Poznań. The Pro-Polish Confederation (1.47%) did not exceed the electoral threshold. This would translate into 22 seats for KO, six for the New Left, five for the United Right and just one for Third Way.
