A drunk 14-year-old child went to the Emergency Department of the Wielkopolska Pediatric Center in Poznań on Sunday. The girl had 2.5 per mille of alcohol in her blood. In total, over the last 24 hours, Poznań rescuers recorded 175 notifications.

Among other things, the SOR received three drunk teenagers, including a 14-year-old girl who, as it turned out, had 2.5 per mille of alcohol in her blood.

– We had the displeasure of helping three young people who rushed a few years to celebrate. One of them was a 14-year-old girl with 2.5 per mille of alcohol in her blood – told TVN24 Patryk Konieczka, MD, PhD.

A teenager burnt by a firecracker

He added that there was also one more serious incident with a firecracker. A teenager with burns to his face and hand was taken to the surgical ward.

– We took in a young man who was not careful when lighting fireworks and was quite seriously injured. The face and one of the upper limbs suffered, which are quite badly burned – emphasized Konieczka.

It is known that the lives of these people are not in danger. About 20-25 percent of patients admitted to the Poznań ER on New Year’s Eve had to stay in hospital wards.

In total, there were 175 reports in the last 24 hours.
