Police officers from Wielkopolska detained the perpetrator of a spectacular burglary at a house in Poznań’s Grunwald district. The thief broke the terrace door, but he escaped with nothing because he got scared of one of the household members. The camera then recorded it. On the same day, he was detained in the neighboring province.

The burglary took place on January 25 in the morning at ul. Marszałkowska in Poznań’s Grunwald. The hooded man broke open the terrace door in such a way that it fell inside along with the frame. “The burglar did not move the laptop on the table on the ground floor (electronics are hard to sell and easy to track), but immediately went upstairs in search of money and jewelry” – describes the Association of Abyssinia Residents.

There he came across an inhabitant of the house, whom he did not expect inside. “Our neighbor scared off the thief, who apparently broke into ‘rimpala’, thinking that no one was home,” we read.

The man was hooded, of medium build and height. He was supposed to run away towards the garages at Cześnikowska Street.
