Over 100 offenses in 185 inspected vehicles that provided passenger transport services were identified by the Poznań police during an inspection carried out on Friday evening and at night in Poznań’s Old Town. Fines poured in.
“We especially controlled those who provide paid transport using the application” – announced the Municipal Police Headquarters in Poznań on Saturday.
“We want the residents and tourists who visit us to feel safe, choosing Poznań as the place of their social meetings, after which they will calmly return to their homes” – added.
The police said that as part of the campaign, 192 people were checked and 185 vehicles were checked, including 161 cars that provided passenger transport services. The police also revealed more than 100 offenses for which fines were imposed.
“We checked licenses for paid passenger transport – five people, unfortunately, did not have them. We stopped 10 registration certificates. In addition, there were checks on driving licenses and the state of sobriety of drivers” – said the police.
The activities of the police officers of the Traffic Department of the Police Headquarters in Poznań were carried out in cooperation with the Border Guard, the Road Transport Inspection, the City Guard of the City of Poznań and the Prevention Department of the Police in Poznań.
