Poznań. The 89-year-old fell out of the driving tram

In Poznań, an elderly woman fell out of a moving tram. She was hospitalized with a head injury. The police explain the circumstances of this event.

The incident occurred on the street 28 June around 13:25. – Policemen received a notification regarding a road incident at the intersection of 28 June with ul. Sikorski in Poznań. The preliminary findings of police officers show that the 89 -year -old passenger of the tram line 10 in unexplained circumstances at the moment fell out of the tram moving towards Dębiec – says younger aspirant Anna Klój from the press team of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Poznań.

The injured woman with a head injury was taken to the hospital for further diagnostics. – The tram was sober. Policemen work on the spot. They will explain the circumstances, causes and exact course of this event – the Klój informed.

The 89 -year -old fell out of the Modeus Beta tram in a two -way version – he has doors on both sides of the vehicle.

Trams run by detours

Passengers of public transport must take into account difficulties.

“From 13.25 due to a road incident at ul. 28 June 1956 at the height of Kosińskiego Street, the tram traffic towards the Dębiec loop was suspended,” the Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne in Poznań said.

Trams lines 2, 9, 10 and 19 are directed by a detour through the Głogowska/Hetmańska junction.
