Tanzania, where President Andrzej Duda arrived on Thursday evening, is the last stop of his trip around Africa. An official welcome, one-on-one talks with the country’s president, Samia Suluhu, and a meeting of the delegations of both countries are planned. The president is accompanied by first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda. Previously, they visited Kenya and Rwanda.

President Andrzej Duda arrived on Thursday in the largest city Tanzania, Dar es Salaam. This is his last stop on a tour of East Africa, the aim of which is to promote Polish business and talk about the political situation related to Russian aggression in Ukraine.

During his visit to East Africa, Andrzej Duda visits three countries: Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania. The president is accompanied by the first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda.

The president has been in Kenya since Sunday. On Tuesday, he went from Kenya to Rwanda, and the last stop of his journey is Tanzania, where he arrived on Thursday evening. An official welcome, one-on-one talks with the country’s president Samia Suluhu and a bilateral meeting of delegations of both countries are planned in Dar es Salam.

The main topics that President Andrzej Duda intends to discuss in Tanzania are the promotion of our business and the issue of global security. The president wants to discuss, among others: about the situation in our part of Europe and the consequences war in Ukraine. – We will talk about the operation of Russian propaganda and disinformation. We will say who violates international law and violates the order established after World War II, who violates borders, who is the attacker and who is responsible for today’s difficult situation in many places around the world, announced the president.

During his stay in Dar es Salam, the president will also visit a local hospital where Poland is implementing an aid program and training local doctors in emergency medicine. The visit will culminate in a meeting with communities working for Poland.
