Presidential debate of Końskie. Clashes of Karol Nawrocki and Rafał Trzaskowski

During a nearly three -hour debate in Końskie there were numerous clashes between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki. They both asked themselves several times, and there were also voices of mutual criticism. Nawrocki said that the candidate of the Civic Coalition “makes a clown of himself”, while Trzaskowski assessed that Nawrocki was saying “the words of Russian propaganda.” We present the most interesting moments of this confrontation.

Already during one of the first statements, when Karol Nawrocki answered the question about the possible return of basic military service, he attacked Rafał Trzaskowskisaying that “the biggest threat to the Polish army would be if a coward stood at its head,” because he described the president of Warsaw.

Nawrocki put a rainbow flag to Trzaskowski

At some point, Nawrocki put a rainbow flag in front of the KO candidate.

– We are to stand here before you and boast of the millions of our citizens who we are great. I see that some candidates with a smile entered this role, but we are still waiting for the biggest explosion of internal egoism. For seven years I pursued the policy of the memory of the Polish state as the director of the Museum of the Second War and the boss IPN. I have relationships around the world. I do not want to brag about them, but I will tell you something to the editor and our viewers, which is very important. Always with this beautiful Polish white and red flag and I will represent it – said Nawrocki, putting national colors in front of him.

In turn, before Rafał Trzaskowski he erected a rainbow flag. – Because he has been running away recently (Trzaskowski – ed.) From this symbolism. My chief of staff he had already mentioned, he chased for showing a photo with a flag LGBT from “Gazeta Wyborcza” – added Nawrocki.

Trzaskowski removed the flag from the rostrum. – you have some absolute obsession, and president (PISJarosław) Kaczyński and by gays. I don't know what you are afraid of. Kaczyński is afraid of Europe, he is afraid of gays, he is afraid of Rodeo. This is really something incredible. Fear and complexes – he said. He stipulated that he himself would not take the right to the white and red flag.

Nawrocki with “emboldened” Russia, Trzaskowski: Words of Russian propaganda

Another short circuit between Trzaskowski and Nawrocki took place in the turn of mutual questions regarding the safety sphere. The candidate KO asked the PiS candidate about his word that he would lead to a situation in which the presidents of the US, Russia, Ukraine and Poland – and no one from the EU will be at the negotiating table. – How do you want to do this, since you have no relations in the European Union that only Poland will represent all of Europe? – asked Trzaskowski.

Nawrocki in response stated that Europe is in a gigantic crisis. – This is also responsible for the boss – Donald Tusk, who signed the Putin pact together with Angela Merkeland under the influence of this pact, the Russian Federation emboldened by millions of euros attacked Ukraine. Climate pact, migration pact – all this boss, vice -chairman – he said.

– As the president of the Polish state, I will not be a servant, especially the German state butler – said Nawrocki, adding that he intends to be guided by the principle “first Poland, first of all Poles”.

Trzaskowski estimated that Nawrocki answered his question “with the words of Russian propaganda.” – Because to say that it is co -responsible for the war in Ukraine European Unionit's just Russian propaganda – added the candidate KO.

“You make a clown of yourself”

During the debate, Trzaskowski was asked, among others by Marek Jakubiak, about the formula of the debate itself, to which Trzaskowski originally invited Karol Nawrocki. The PiS candidate referred to this several times.

– Mr Nawrocki, there was Mr. (Sławomir) Mentzen, there were a few others, so at the request of Mr. Nawrocki, that we would stand one on one, I said: okay, please, please come to Końsky, let's meet one on one. Unfortunately, Mr. Nawrocki chickened, he did not want to discuss one on one – said the candidate KO. He added that when it turned out that many other candidates want to take part in the debate in Końskie, he invited them – as he said – out of respect for them and to voters.

– I was waiting for you on the market in Końskie, I invited you to a debate. You did not arrive, you chickened, just as there was an empty desktop as many years ago. And here I came to you and I am, but you invited only three television (…), and wanted to be in greenhouse conditions – said Nawrocki.

– You make a clown, vice -chairman. Because I came to the Lord, and the Lord as the main organizer led to what we are participating today. Mr. Marshal, I agree: You will not defend this Rafał – said Nawrocki.

Nawrocki: Traditionally, a question to Rafał Trzaskowski

During one of the last rounds of mutual questions between the candidates, Nawrocki once again directed his question to the President of Warsaw.

– Traditionally, I will be consistent, dear Ladies and Gentlemen, a question to Rafał Trzaskowski. In my optics you are a radically leftist politician, but as we can see, you give the LGBT flag Marszałek. Once you tell you to download crosses in the Warsaw town hall and in the Polish capital, then you say that this ordinance was not. Once you say that CPK is gigantomania, and then that it is needed. Who are you actually, Mr. Rafale? – he said.

– Certainly I have a problem with double identity, you have a problem with double identity, as all of Poland learned – said Trzaskowski, referring to Tadeusz Batyr's case. – On the other hand, when it comes to your question, as usual, a lot of paranoia, you really have some obsession with Kaczyński (…), and by gays – said Trzaskowski.

– I don't know, I'm not able to completely understand what you see (including – ed.) A threat. You have a happy family, I have a happy family, here we are all standing, do most of us have happy families and where are your gays a threat? The Lord really is afraid so much (…) that it will violate the Polish family, and yet partnerships are mainly to serve heterosexual couples – he continued.

Trzaskowski said that in the CPK case “there was no change of position”. They drew their finger on the water, telling some nonsense. Finally, we have a real project that, by the way, will protect Okęcie, which will finally invest in a flight and now you can only implement this project, and you told some lat dubs on this topic, you didn't even know how to invest in a flight – he added.
