Presidential debate. Trzaskowski responds to allegations of the eviction of a six -year -old and his family

During the Friday presidential debate, the PiS candidate returned to the eviction case of a six -year -old and his parents from the municipal apartment. – The decision was suspended. There was no eviction – replied Rafał Trzaskowski, accusing Karol Nawrocki “distorting” facts.

– The eviction dissertation, I see, takes place on May 29, so just like with Marszałkowska 66 you can still show a bit of decency – said Nawrocki.

A different apartment was proposed to the family

In response, Trzaskowski accused Nawrocki that he had already asked this question. – I replied that this decision was suspended. There was no eviction. This is not true again. And there will be no eviction because this family has been proposed another apartment, in cheaper construction for rent. Because this is exactly what I do – the President of Warsaw replied.

The presidential candidate assured that he cares about communal apartments in the capital. – Because there were different people, they appeared who tried to buy for those people who lived in these municipal apartments, apartments with a discount to do business. The entire mafia of this type operated and unfortunately in Gdańsk, and in Warsaw, in other cities – he noted. He added that he led to the fact that this practice was no longer there. Trzaskowski noted that the city is increasing the municipal resource as it can. – Renovation of vacancies. 12,000 vacancy, sometimes they are really very serious renovations. Two thousand new apartments that were built. And at the moment we are accelerating – he assured.

Trzaskowski stipulated that he also has a document that he proposes to this family, which Nawrocki mentioned, a flat in a very modern building for cheaper rental to solve this specific problem. – Because when I hear about problems, I just solve them – he noted.

– You distort the facts and talk about something that has never happened – he added at the end.

Officials have already denied this matter

Let us remind you: the matter a family of three with a six -year -old childwhich must leave the occupied municipal apartment, was called during the previous debate of the President of the Republic of Poland in the Polish Television studio.

The case was commented on by the deputy mayor of Śródmieście Rafał Krasuski. – The matter is zero-one. In the case of this family, it is not possible to deprive her of her apartment. Thus, allegations regarding the eviction on the pavement are unfounded. I definitely deny it – he said. As he noted, the case has been conducted by the district and real estate management board since 2021. – With the moment of death of the main tenant, the current person who is in this premises could not continue renting on the basis of Article 691 of the Civil Code – he pointed out.

This article indicates a circle of loved ones who can continue the municipal premises lease agreement. The spouse of the tenant and children are mentioned, and not the grandson of the tenant, as in this case. – We informed that if he insists that he is such a person, he can bring a lawsuit to the court to determine the rental relationship – said Krasuski.

He also confirmed that the family exceeds the income criterion. – has been informed that she could submit an application to TBS, where income criteria are higher. She did not exercise this right – noted the deputy mayor.

Downtown officials explained that only the court could decide on possible eviction. The legal advisor of ZGN Stanisław Cebula explained that when it comes to the claim addressed in this case, “in such cases the court requires eviction at the first point, and at the same time in the second point he writes that to 'time to indicate social housing', these people have the right to live in this premises until the city indicates another premises.”

“The bailiff cannot evict until the city's social housing indicates,” he emphasized.
