Presidential election 2025 – as young vote. Action Democracy with a profrening action

The Democracy action prepares further spots that are to encourage young people to participate in the upcoming elections. – There is a feeling that young affairs are not as looked after by politicians as the affairs of other groups – Jakub Kocjan from Democracy said on TVN24 on Sunday. He also referred to the popularity of Sławomir Mentzen among young voters.

The Democracy Action movement, which deals with, among others, creating spots encouraging to participate in the elections, has also prepared something for the upcoming presidential election. Jakub Kocjan from the Democracy campaign said on TVN24 on Sunday that for several months they have been working on a profrening campaign, addressed primarily to young people.

“The right to abortion stands out as a very important, unknown issue”

– We especially studied those people, we asked, we talked about the most important issues for them, which took part in the election on October 15, 2023 for the first time, and later, for example, in local elections, they have not necessarily voted. We have very well diagnosed issues that are crucial to them and we will talk about them. This time it will be not only one spot – said Kocjan.

In his opinion, the rate of presidential election is “huge”. – Young people see the international situation and certainly this fear of the future, for the fate of their families, their community is great. And this emphasis on ensuring that the presidential candidate is a person who efficiently moves in the international environment is very important to them. But there are also other issues, such as, for example, the right to abortion, which still stands out as a very important, unknown issue. I think it is not by accident, for example Rafał Trzaskowski In recent weeks, he talks a lot about it. And the need to accelerate when it comes to changes and liberalization of abortion law, it is very high among young people – said TVN24 guest.

“Many people are not aware of what Sławomir Mentzen really thinks”

He also commented on the interest of young voters with the confederation candidate Sławomir Mentzen. – Certainly a large proportion of young people are still looking for their candidate or candidate. And this is visible and in research, and in conversations that in fact such a search for a person who will show that not everything is okay, not everything is as we would like, who somehow opposes the status quo. This is actually energy that is visible. But on the other hand, many people are not aware of what Sławomir Mentzen really thinks – he said.

He pointed out, among others, the postulate of the confederation candidate about the introduction of only paid studies. “And here suddenly this cognitive dissonance appears,” said Kocjan. – It is very, very important, because then people realize when they really hear what the views of Sławomir Mentzen are: Stop, it is too far away.
