The turnout in the presidential election at 17 o'clock amounted to 50.69 percent – said the National Electoral Commission. It is higher than the previous elections, which took place in 2020.

The greatest attendance was recorded at this time in the province Mazowieckie (54.97 percent), Lesser Poland (52.89 percent) and Pomeranian (52.40 percent). The lowest attendance was in the province Opole (43.22 percent), Lubuskie (46.84 percent) i Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (47.86 percent).
The chairman of the PKW pointed out that in all 18 voivodship cities the turnout exceeded 50 percent, and Warsaw had the highest (58.85 percent), then Poznań (56.22 percent) and Kraków (55.41 percent).
In the previous presidential election in 2020, the election attendance at the same time was 47.89 percent. In the parliamentary elections in 2023 – 57.54 percent, while in the elections to the European Parliament in 2024 – 28.20 percent.

Turnout at 12 o'clock
During the conference at 13.30, members of the PKW said that the election attendance at 12 o'clock 20.28 percent – 5 739 537 voting cards were issued to authorized persons.
It was then stated that the largest attendance was recorded in the Lesser Poland (23.05 percent), Podlasie (22.57 %) and Podkarpackie (22.3 percent) province. In cities, the highest turnout was in Lublin (24.34 percent), Rzeszów (23.01 percent) and in Bialystok (22.81 percent).
The lowest attendance was until noon in the province. Opole (16.07 percent), Lubuskie (17.57 percent) and Lower Silesia (17.91 percent). The least people went to vote in Gdańsk (16.93 percent), Opole (18.54 percent) and Gorzów Wielkopolski (19.44 percent).
In the previous presidential election in 2020, the election attendance at the same time was 24.73 percent. In the parliamentary elections in 2023 – 22.59 percent, and in elections to the European Parliament in 2024 – 11.66 percent.
Presidential elections are underway
At 7 am, voting in the presidential election began on Sunday. 13 candidates start in them. Nearly 29 million voters are entitled to vote. The voice can be cast in over 32,000 polling stations in the country, there are also 511 voting circuits abroad.
An identity document should be taken to the polling station. It will allow the voter to find in the voters' list and allow him to vote. Identity can also be confirmed using the MOBKITRA application. If the voter uses a certificate of voting right, the Commission will add him to the voters' list.
Until the voting is completed, the election silence is underway. It is violated by every element of active election agitation, i.e. public urging or encouraging to vote in a certain way. Agitation at the polling station is also forbidden, including on displaying symbols, signs and inscriptions associated with candidates and election committees. There is a fine – the highest from PLN 500,000 to PLN 1 million for the breaking of agitation during the election silence polls.
