City Hall: “Complete nonsense”

The Organization of Sex Work Polska is currently called the Camellia Collective. How informs On the website, the collective was founded in 2014 and “works for sexually working in Poland”. It offers, among others, “free legal advice, psychological consultations, consultations for migrants and migrants in the field of visa procedures and legalization of stay, support in difficult situations, in the case of experience of violence and other crisis situations, information on sexual and reproductive health”, and also organizes training and workshops for sexually working people.

The city has never financed or financed the activities of the Kamelia collective or sex Work Polska initiative.

FEJKA source – Kalety report from 2019

Where did these reports come from? They were based on another PiS policy from a few years ago. It is about Sebastian Kaleta, who published in 2019 report “Where does the Warsaw residents go? In it he reported that sex Work Polska was one of them. She was to receive funding for her actions in connection with the company Prekursor, which received support in the amount of over PLN 1.1 million. Only that, first of all, the funds were formally received by the precursor, and not yet operating under the old name, the Kalast Kamelia. Secondly, this money was intended not to “promote prostitution”, but to help people addicted to drugs and support for people infected with HIV and educational activities in this area. This, moreover, explained immediately after the publication of the Kalety report, the deputy spokesman for the Press Office of the Capital City of Warsaw Warsaw Ewa Rogala. He said PAPRogala on the portal X (then Twitter) wrote: “In connection with the lies and manipulations presented by @sjkaleta, we declare: The city of @Warszawa supports educational and preventive activities directed to endangered HIV/AIDS, based on the recommendations of experts, not politicians.”

Also, the Kamelia collective in its recent Instagram post referred to the Kalety report from 2019, informing: “The amount of the Kaleta MP's report concerns the three -year project of the Center for Integrated Aid and Reduction of Damage for Psychoactive Substances, implemented by the Social Policy Foundation, it is implemented. Beneficiaries or the target group, we also do not have access to funds granted for its implementation. ” The connection of the collective with the precursor was also explained: “As we are an informal collective, the Precursor Foundation gives us only legal personality in the implementation of our activities.”
