He emphasized that “the fight against disinformation and safe elections is today the number one goal for the government.”

The deputy prime minister said that the Russian side “introduces new solutions” to achieve its goal. – For example, he wants to lead to Poles here in Poland who will work for Russian military or civil intelligence, FSB or GRU – he continued.

He added that in the so -called Darknet, a part of the Internet available only using special software, “there are already entries that identify services that there are offers of 3-4 thousand euros for people who would have to work in the election campaign for Russian intelligence.”
– And you have to say it a lot: if someone would like to be tempted by such an offer, it is a betrayal of state, it is a crime, it is espionage in Poland – emphasized Gawkowski. He added that such people would be prosecuted and then punished.
