Matylda Damięcka often refers to the political situation in Poland in her work. Now she has commented on the result of the presidential election. In social media, she published eloquent graphics.
The National Electoral Commission gave the official results of the presidential election in Poland. It was won by Karol Nawrocki, who obtained 50.89 percent. votes (10 606 877). Rafał Trzaskowski won 49.11 percent votes (10 237 286). The attendance amounted to 71.63 percent and was the highest in Polish history presidential elections.
Matylda Damięcka comments on the results of the election
The election results were commented on in social media by Matilda Damięck. On Instagram she posted eloquent, minimalist graphics, referring to the first letter of the name of the winner of the presidential election. In the signature she added hashtag: #isieobuz. A lot of emotional comments, including hater, appeared under her post. “The gentlemen who send me floral descriptions of my genital tract and criminal acts, I recommend moderation and remind me: there is a penalty of imprisonment for up to 3 years … in the internet also for punishable threats” – wrote Damięcka. And she added: “Let's all eat something delicious today and write less for some time.”
Earlier she created drawings convincing to vote. On Sunday, she also published graphics encouraging to participate in the elections.
