Presidential election 2025. Rafał Trzaskowski definitely wins abroad

Rafał Trzaskowski definitely won in the circuits abroad, ahead of Sławomir Mentzen and Karol Nawrocki. The candidate of the Civic Coalition received almost 50 percent of votes in Spain, nearly 42 percent in France, 41 percent in Germany, 36 percent in Great Britain and less than 30 percent in the Netherlands. Iceland turned out to be an exception, where Sławomir Mentzen triumphed.

In the voting circuits abroad, Rafał Trzaskowski received the most votes in the first round of presidential elections – 36.82 percent, the second was Sławomir Mentzen – 16.58 percent, and the third Karol Nawrocki – 16.07 percent of votes.

The turnout in elections abroad was 89.21 percent. 524 204 voters were entitled to vote in circuits abroad; Voted in 511 voting circuits.

Trzaskowski wins in Great Britain and Germany

Most election committees were organized in Great Britain. It was from there that the voices to the National Electoral Commission ran out the last. In Great Britain, where 120 006 Poles voted, 43,089 people, i.e. 35.91 percent, voted for the KO candidate. The second place in this country was taken by the confederation candidate Sławomir Mentzen, which was voted by 22,612, i.e. 18.84 percent of voters. Grzegorz Braun came further with support of 14.45 percent and supported by PiS Karol Nawrocki with support at 13.36 percent.

78 202 people voted in Germany. Trzaskowski won here, who was supported by 40.86 percent of them. Mentzen came second in Germany with the support of 18.63 percent, further – Nawrocki with the support of 14.55 percent. Grzegorz Braun took the fourth place with the support of 9.61 percent.

Trzaskowski also won in the Netherlands, where 27,244 Poles went to the urns. 29.38 percent of them voted for the KO candidate. Mentzen came second again with a result of 26.52 percent, the third – Together's candidate Adrian Zandberg with support of 11.48 percent.

Similarly, the results break down in Norway – a large cluster of Polonia – where 20,873 people voted. 31.84 percent of them voted for Trzaskowski, 22.77 percent – to Mentzen. The third place was taken by Grzegorz Braun with the support of 13.40 percent, further – Nawrocki with a result of 13.35 percent.

Poles in Ireland, Belgium, Spain and France for Trzaskowski

In Ireland, where 17,788 Poles voted, Rafał Trzaskowski took the first place, with the support of 37.68 percent. Behind him – Mentzen with the support of 17.52 percent, Braun with 14.98 percent support and Nawrocki – 12.76 percent.

17 105 Poles voted in Belgium. 36.05 percent of the votes were won by Trzaskowski, then: Mentzen from 18.16 percent of support, Nawrocki with a result of 14.42 percent and Braun – 11.84 percent.

Also in Spain, where 16,953 people went to the polls, the KO candidate recorded clearly with support at 49.70 percent. The second place went to Mentzen with a result of 10.7 percent, and the third – left -wing candidate Magdalena Biejat with 10.3 percent of support.

In France, Trzaskowski received – among 16,634 voters – 41.79 percent of support. Behind him was Nawrocki, which was voted by 18.53 percent of voters voting in France, further – Mentzen with the support of 10.97 percent and Braun with a result of 8.31 percent.

Trzaskowski took the first place in Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria and Denmark with a clear advantage.

Exception in Iceland

Among the European countries, Iceland turned out to be an exception, where Mentzen received the highest support among 5,165 voting Poles with support of 28.5 percent. Trzaskowski took second place there, winning 20.35 percent of the votes.
