In Krakow, from which Andrzej Duda comes, PiS candidate Karol Nawrocki received a definitely lower result than the incumbent Polish President five years ago. In the second round in 2020, Rafał Trzaskowski received 270,000 in Krakow. 305 votes, i.e. 61.47 percent of support. In turn, 169 thousand voted for Andrzej Duda. 441 voters, i.e. 38.53 percent

Data from the Commission in the entire Lesser Poland Voivodeship indicate – without surprise – that support in the region is distributed completely differently than in the former capital. Thanks to the more conservative, traditional parts of the province – Like, for example, Podhale – right -wing candidates gained strongly.

Karol Nawrocki won in the entire Lesser Poland Voivodeship with a result of 35.21 percent. votes, Rafał Trzaskowski came second with the support of 24.41 percent.

The third result in Lesser Poland was obtained by Sławomir Mentzen – 16.20 percent, the fourth Grzegorz Braun – 6.59 percent, and the fifth Adrian Zandberg – 5.45 percent.

The next places included: Szymon Hołownia (4.91 percent), Magdalena Biejat (3.45 percent), Krzysztof Stanowski (1.23 percent), Joanna Senyszyn (1.04 percent), Marek Jakubiak (0.82 percent), Artur Bartoszewicz (0.44 percent), Maciej Maciak (0.16 percent) and Marek Woch (0.09 percent).

The turnout in the voivodship was 69.71 percent

In 2020, in the first round of presidential elections, Andrzej Duda (51.11 percent) won the first result in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, and the second Rafał Trzaskowski (23.92 percent). The turnout then amounted to 67.22 percent.
