He wrote that these candidates “supported Nawrocki”.

Mentzen answered this message with the words “no, I didn't support him.” “My voters have their blush and will vote in accordance with their beliefs. Neither I nor any journalist will tell them what to do,” added Mentzen.

In the next answer, Sakiewicz agreed with Mentzen, stating that he has “wise voters”. “They understand what it means to go to the election and do not vote for Trzaskowski,” he added.

Mentzen before the second round: I do not support one or the other

In the first round of presidential elections, Mentzen took third place, obtaining 14.81 percent of support. Earlier on the same day, the confederation politician was asked in Polsat News if he would vote in the second round. He replied that “he would not say what he would do on Sunday.”

He assessed that both Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki “They are not the best candidates you could imagine.” “That's why I don't officially support one or the other,” he said.

– I have already said many times that I believe in my voters. Let them vote in accordance with their reason, according to their conscience and I believe that they will choose well, “Mentzen said.

Mentzen about support: I will not be enrolled in any of the camps

When asked how he accepted that such confederation politicians as Przemysław Wipler I Krzysztof Bosak “They suggest to vote for Nawrocki, because it will be a strong blow to the left-liberal direction”, he replied that “Przemysław Wipler is a private MP of the Confederation and expressed his opinion on this subject, and Krzysztof Bosak has the right to have his opinion.” – We are the leaders of two parties creating the confederation and we can differ in detail – he said.

Mentzen also referred to the talks, which he conducted last week with Trzaskowski and Nawrocki on his YouTube channel.

“I said I wouldn't be enrolled in any of the camps and I think I kept my word,” he said.

Sławomir Mentzen already during his election evening after the first round of presidential elections announced that before the second round he would help his supporters make a choice.

He invited both presidential candidates for interviews, during which he proposed signing an eight -point declaration containing postulates important for his voters. Nawrocki signed the list, Trzaskowski did not, but agreed with some points.

Eight Mentzen's postulates include, among others, a commitment to not to be entitled to increasing taxes in Poland, opposition to sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine and a lack of consent to the ratification of the accession of Ukraine to NATO.

Mentzen in the Wednesday film on his YouTube channel evaluated both conversations. He also emphasized that he did not intend to pass on support to any of the candidates.
