Electoral turnout to 5pm in the second round of presidential elections is higher than in the same period five years ago. In which voivodships are the biggest changes? On tvn24.pl we compared attendance from today's elections and those in 2020.

National Electoral Commission said attendance in the second round of presidential elections until 5pm. 54.91 percent of authorized voters went to the urns. Five years ago at the same time the attendance was 52.10 percent.

Currently, the highest turnout (until 5pm) was in the Mazowieckie voivodship – 58.51 percent. At the same time five years ago it amounted to 55.55 percent. This means an increase of 2.96 percentage.

The second highest attendance was recorded in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (57.23 percent). In previous elections at the same time it amounted to 54.58, which means an increase of 2.65 percentage.

The third highest attendance can be boasted of the Łódź Voivodeship, where 56.10 percent of the entitled ones went to the urns. Five years earlier it was a result of 52.96. This is a change up by 3.14 percentage.

In turn, the lowest attendance was recorded in the Opolskie Voivodeship (48.05 percent). In previous elections it was 46.20 percent, which means an increase of 1.85 percentage.

In the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, 50.77 percent of voters voted to 5pm, in 2020 it was 48.65 percent. The increase is 2.12 p.

The third lowest turnout was in the Lubuskie Voivodeship, where 1.92 p. Voters more than 49.91 percent five years ago went to polling stations.

The next comparisons are as follows:

  • Podlasie 53.44 percent to 50.86 (+ 2.58 percent);
  • Lubelskie 54.57 and 51.33 (+ 3.24);
  • Podkarpackie 54.37 and 52.20 (+ 2.17);
  • West Pomeranian 54.32 and 51.20 (+ 3.12);
  • Śląskie 54.37 and 51.28 (+ 3.09);
  • Kujawsko-Pomorskie 53.44 percent to 50.10 percent (+ 3.34);
  • Pomeranian 55.43 percent up to 52.46 percent (+ 2.97);
  • Świętokrzyskie 53.55 percent to 51.39 percent (+ 2.16);
  • Wielkopolskie 54.33 percent up to 52.14 percent (+ 2.19);
  • Dolnośląskie 53.78 percent 50.67 percent; (+ 3.11).

Changes in attendance have also been distinguished by cities and villages. In cities in 2025, the turnout until 17 am 55.78 percent, in 2020 52.47 percent (+ 3.31 percentage). In turn, the recorded turnout in the villages is 53.63 percent. Meanwhile, five years ago it was 51.55 percent (+ 2.08 percent).
