Source: tvn24

From the very beginning of the campaign I said that it would be very close in the first round, but more importantly – in the second round. And that every vote will count – said in “Facts after Facts” on TVN24 KO candidate Rafał Trzaskowski. He commented on the results of the latest survey.

WITH poll Opinion24 for “Facts” TVN and TVN24 shows that the most respondents declare voting in the first round of presidential elections at Rafał Trzaskowski. KO candidate can count on 29 percent support. Karol Nawrocki (25 percent) and Sławomir Mentzen (12 percent) were in the following places.

If in the second round Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki clashed, the President of Warsaw would have won 48 percent of the votes, and the president IPN – 45 percent.

Trzaskowski: There will be a fight for every voice

Rafał Trzaskowski referred to the results of this survey in “Facts after Facts” on TVN24. He said that “from the very beginning of the campaign, and he started it almost eight months ago, he said that he would be very close.” – That it will be very close in the first round, but more importantly – it will be very close in the second round. And that every voice will count – he added.

– We predicted that it would be exactly so, that it would be very close, that the campaign would last until the last hour and that there would be a fight for every vote – said the candidate KO.

He added that that is why “such great determination is needed, which is why we work from morning to evening, convincing Polish and Poles how important these choices are.” – In these last days, it turned out that you have to return to these most important values, that these choices are a choice between the honest Polish and Polish cwaniaków. And it is worth reminding about these really basic values - he said.

Trzaskowski: Nawrocki said that he helped selflessly and borrowed for a usury percentage

He referred to the case of the apartment of Karol Nawrocki, which the candidate PIS He took over from the older man Jerzy Ż. There are still many questions in this matter. The journalist of “Facts” TVN Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska revealed on Thursday that Nawrocki granted Mr. Jerzy a loan of PLN 12,000 at 20 percent per year. Gazeta Wyborcza also published information on this subject.

– Total cunning. I am simply stunned, because there was so much version and Mr. Nawrocki told that he helped selflessly and what turned out? That he borrowed money and for a usury percent – commented Trzaskowski.

He added that “he signed the commitment that he would take care of Mr. Jerzy, and Mr. Jerzy landed in a social welfare home.” – The lie is chasing a lie and you can see that here it was simply about taking over his apartment at the expense of the older sick man, still using a discount, which of course did not belong to Nawrocki – he said.

He estimated that it was a “degree of cunning – an attitude that should not take place in normal life at all, let alone in the life of a man who is seeking the highest office in the state.”

Trzaskowski: This is an obvious staff error

Trzaskowski also referred to the case of the envelope, which he handed to the PiS candidate at the end of the Monday presidential debate. The next day, both Nawrocki and Trzaskowski revealed that there was an account number of the social welfare home account in which Mr. Jerzy is staying.

Trzaskowski, informing about it in social media, published a photo of a card with the name of this man and the name of the DPS. The President of the Office for Personal Data Protection announced the launch of the proceedings from the disclosure of the disclosure of personal data by Trzaskowski. Similar behavior is to be initiated against Nawrocki. This, in turn, gave Jerzy Ż. in one of the recordings.

– An obvious staff error, because we deleted this entry – said the candidate KO. – Of course, PiS shared these personal data to the left and right throughout the week, but we should not do it and that's why we corrected it – he added.

“My staff has nothing to do with it”

He also referred to the reports of Wirtualna Polska. WP wrote on Thursday that behind political advertisements published on the Internet promoting Rafał Trzaskowski and attacking his competitors stands an employee and volunteers of the Akcja Democracy Foundation. As indicated, the president of the foundation is a man who was an assistant to the Civic Coalition MP a few weeks ago.

The day before, the NASK Disinformation Analysis Center issued a message, which shows that political ads displayed in Poland on Facebook were probably financed abroad. According to the center's findings “involved in the account campaign in the last seven days, they have spent more on political materials than any election committee”, and these activities “have to seem to support one of the candidates and discredit others”. ABW does the matter. On the same day the advertising was blocked.

– Please ask the foundation, my staff has nothing to do with it – said Trzaskowski. – On the other hand, a lot of fakes, propaganda appeared. On the one hand, there is a campaign run by various types of entities, which is to encourage participation in the elections, and on the other hand we learn that there are various types of SMSs, content where someone impersonates me, lubricates under my staff – he said.

He added that “it is known that the Russians have fingers in all election campaigns today throughout Europe and all over the world.”

– You have to be very careful, this is a task for state services to counteract it – he noted.

Trzaskowski said that “all this should be explained.” – Very good, let it be explained by the prosecutor's office, by NASK. We, as we learned about fakes, also immediately reported the case to the prosecutor's office and NASK. There are appropriate services that should explain this – he added.

Trzaskowski on the Marszałkowska case 66

Rafał Trzaskowski also referred to the issue related to the tenement house at 66 Marszałkowska Street. He replied the accusations of him by Karol Nawrocki and the PiS environment. In their opinion, Trzaskowski, apart from the city council and without public consultations, decided to sell this building. They claim that the team of the President of Warsaw threw 40 families out of the tenement house to sell it to developers.

– It is such insolence that hands fall. Nawrocki himself behaved dishonestly and is currently trying to attack the Warsaw city. In turn. We led to the fact that we did not give a single tenement house from reprivatization. We led to the fact that we finished selling municipal apartments with a discount just so that there is no such scams that PiS loves. By the way, as we liquidated these discounts, PiS councilors voted for such discounts to be. We build, renovate apartments to enlarge the municipal resource. Let's not sell them outside of absolutely unique situations – said Rafał Trzaskowski.

As he explained, “officials in all Warsaw districts are required to check whether someone has the right to a municipal apartment or not.” As a president, he told his officials to look at this matter again.

– There was indeed a request to court. There was no eviction. I said clearly that this matter had to be clarified. The second issue, when it comes to Marszałkowska 66, this building was in a terrible condition. A renovation order for huge money was issued. In agreement with the residents, other premises in Śródmieście were issued. There is also a matter of whether or not selling this tenement house, because the renovation is so expensive that for this money you can build other communal apartments of a much higher standard. There is no final decision. It will fall after deep analyzes – emphasized Rafał Trzaskowski.

Matters that Trzaskowski would like to implement

The presidential candidate was also asked what specific three matters he would like to do during his presidency.

– First, security and 5 percent of GDP for defense. I will press the government to reach these 5 percent. Secondly, the issue of equalizing unevenness between Polish regions, cities and towns – admitted Trzaskowski.

He also noted that he wanted everyone to have access to the best public services. – I will fight for this to be implemented, also a fight against communication exclusion – he added and mentioned one more important issue.

– The third thing is to strengthen alliances. We must have the best relations with the United States, strengthen the North Atlantic Alliance, but we must also have the best relations with the European Union. It would be good for the president to be an active participant in this policy. Only in this way will we be treated after partner by United States – he noted.

He also mentioned that the issues of women's rights, nurseries and a change in abortion law are very important to him. The Civic Coalition candidate is a supporter of abortion until the 12th week of pregnancy. – I'll do everything to make it happen. If there is no initiative in the Sejm, I will submit an appropriate law myself and I will convince my colleagues to this – added Rafał Trzaskowski.

“We will not send Polish soldiers to Ukraine”

In the final fragment of the interview, Rafał Trzaskowski also referred to the issue of sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine.

– We will not send Polish soldiers to Ukraine one hundred percent. We say this to all our partners and they confirm it. We answer abroad NATO and the EU. From Poland we can give logistic support, but no Polish soldier will go to Ukraine. We did more than any other country. Let others take responsibility for Europe's security – he emphasized.
