I won't fail. If you give me a chance, I will win the election, said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and candidate in the party primaries, Radosław Sikorski. He appealed to members of the Civic Coalition to vote for him via text message. He argued that we are in “troubled times” and he, as the former head of the Ministry of National Defense and current head of diplomacy, would step into the role of president “right away.”

Later, in a conversation with journalists, he argued, among others: that “it is easier for him to understand the sensibility of both liberal and conservative non-urban people.” – I'm trying to convince people of my mission and my candidacy. It was very nice to receive expressions of sympathy here, he said.
Sikorski: these elections will be about security
Sikorski also said that next year's presidential elections “will be about security.” – Almost every day we have another Russian provocation. In recent hours, the media have been reporting about Russian launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile. This is an escalation in this war, he noted.
According to him, “Poland is subject to a hybrid attack, information aggression, sabotage, arson and aggression on our border with Belarus, which is of a different nature than the migration waves through the Mediterranean Sea or the Balkans.” – This is aggression organized by two hostile countries – he added.
He said that we are living in “troubled times” in which “the security architecture of our region may be decided for decades to come.”
– I was the Minister of Defense, I have been the Minister of Foreign Affairs for many years. I believe that as president, I would step into this role straight away, and others would have to learn these issues. Therefore, I appealed to members of the Modern Civic Platform, the Greens and the Polska Initiative to cast a vote with the number 2 via an anonymous text message in a secret ballot, said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He expressed his belief that he has “an optimal chance of winning these elections, because they will be decided depending on who attracts the votes of supporters of the party to the right of us, the Civic Coalition.” -A polls show that I have more support in the electorates to the right of us, he pointed out. – I am asking the members watching us, the electors in the primaries, for your trust. I won't fail. If you give me a chance, I will win these elections, Sikorski argued.
“If I win, Rafał will support me. I declare reciprocity”
The minister also pointed out: – I know that if I win, Rafał will support me with full commitment and, of course, he declares reciprocity.
He also noted that “it is great that in all polls each of us wins against each competitor from Law and Justice.”
