Presidential elections in the sight of hackers: Russian cybercriminals started with a campaign, which is intended turn up the pre -election emotions in Poland and inspire a lack of trust to EU institutions – writes Rzeczpospolita, which refers to the information of the EU center “Uevsdisinfo”. The Russians are to spread on the internet false information that the European Union is to prevent Sławomir Mentzen from starting in the May presidential election, and even block the elections themselves.
Possible sabotage: – It should be expected that Russia can reach for physical sabotage in combination with disinformation – said Wojciech Głażewski, director of the Check Point company in Poland. He pointed out that Russian groups such as Noname and APT will try, among others study political changes and anxiety in selected countries.
