Politicians are commenting on the decision of President Andrzej Duda, who announced that he wants Mateusz Morawiecki to form the government. “Most of them are known and we do our job calmly,” wrote the head of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. “I didn’t expect much, I was never disappointed,” admitted Szymon Hołownia, chairman of Poland 2050. In turn, the head of the Left club, Krzysztof Gawkowski, said that Morawiecki had received a “suicide mission.”
In Monday’s speech, Andrzej Duda confirmed that he had decided to entrust the mission of forming a government Mateusz Morawieckiand he will appoint the senior marshal who will lead the first session of the Sejm of the 10th term Marek Sawicki from the Polish People’s Party.
In an entry in which he thanked the president for such a decision, Morawiecki “invited all parliamentarians who put Poland first to cooperate.”
