The head of the Chancellery of President Małgorzata Paprocka, justifying this decision on Tuesday, indicated, among other things, that the Act raises very serious doubts in the field of social justice and is contrary to the constitutional principles.
The change would apply to 2.5 million conducting business activity And it would cost the state budget PLN 4.6 billion (as long as the health contribution would be reduced).
Domański: Our government repairs injustice
The Minister of Finance referred to the case on Friday in “Facts after Facts” on TVN24 Andrzej Domański.
– The health premium for entrepreneurs has been radically raised by the government PIS so -called Polish order. Now our government is impossible step by step, because I would like to remind you that we have liquidated the health premium from fixed assets, we reduced the so -called minimum contribution and now in this third step we want the premium for 2.5 million Polish entrepreneurs, the smallest, small and medium -sized Polish companies to be reduced – he said.
– President Duda said that he would not, that Polish entrepreneurs would still pay a higher health contribution, despite the fact that I have repeatedly assured, also here in this studio that this would not take place in any way at the expense of the National Health Fund, at the cost of expenditure on healthy protection – he added.
Domański: We have to wait for the election result
Domański said that “from the beginning we declared that it was for this group whose Polish order had harm that this health contribution would be reduced.”
– We fulfilled this election commitment. It is a pity that the president vetoed (law – ed.) – he assessed. “However, I am convinced that we will come back to this solution,” he said.
When asked what to do in this matter, he replied that “of course we know that with President Duda, Ania, I understand, with anyone from his political camp as the president, changes in the health premium will not be possible.”

Domański: customs are bad, they harm the economy
The minister also referred to the matter of customs. I talked to my counterpart, secretary of the treasury, Mr. Scott Bessent, where the subject of the Customs Condition appeared and I presented our position very clearly – he said.
– The duties are bad. Dutch harms the economy, duties harm consumers, harm companies. Lead to higher prices, i.e. to the higher inflation. So this is a step from the point of view of the economy – he emphasized. He assessed that “the main burden of these duties would be borne by the American economy, not the European economy.”
Minister Domański was asked if it was true that Europe has put a proposal on the table that it would buy more liquefied gas from Americans, a lot of soy and therefore their deficit of 50 billion will disappear.
– As for gas, I think this is a very interesting topic, because we have to naturally secure the supply of this raw material from responsible suppliers in Europe. Such are certainly the United States – answered Domański.
He emphasized that “we cannot allow Russian gas to ever return to the European market.”
– This is an absolute priority for me and that is why large supplies of American gas would be beneficial, in my opinion, for the European economy, for such our true, geopolitical security – he said.
– But as I said, the European Commission deals with negotiations with the United States. For us, the most important here is the economic interest, promoting Polish economic growth, promoting Polish companies – he added.
