As long as nothing happens that will have a sharp impact on oil prices, next week gasoline prices should remain below PLN 6 per liter – estimate fuel analysts. However, they note that prices may exceed this threshold at the turn of the month.
In their comments on the fuel market on Friday, e-petrol.pl analysts point out that the period of increased demand for fuels is approaching, caused by preparations for and trips to All Saints’ Day.
Gasoline and diesel for over PLN 6 at an increasing number of stations
“This year, due to the high prices of all types of diesel fuels, we will pay much more for travel than in previous years, and moreover, at an increasing number of petrol and diesel stations, we will pay over PLN 6 / l” – emphasized.
E-petrol analysts added that the last week at the stations brought a price correction. “95 lead-free gasoline cost an average of PLN 5.91 / l at the stations, drivers of cars with diesel engines paid PLN 5.93 per liter of fuel. The price of autogas has been systematically increasing for several months and currently amounts to an average of PLN 3.16 in the country” – indicated.
Prices at petrol stations. Expert forecasts
According to the service’s analysts, one can count on at least a temporary breath from large price changes in Polish refineries, and domestic fuel producers will introduce only minor adjustments to their price lists in the coming days. “For drivers who are confidently planning further trips at the turn of October and November, analysts at e-petrol.pl have not the best information, because at an increasing number of stations the applicable prices of basic fuels may exceed the barrier of PLN 6 per liter” – emphasized.
It was added that the price of the most popular type of gasoline should be in the range of PLN 5.94-6.10 per liter, while diesel fuel may be more expensive, which petrol station owners can sell at PLN 5.96-6.12 / l. Next week, autogas may also become more expensive, and the average price of a liter of LPG should be between PLN 3.15 and PLN 3.23 per liter.
Similarly, experts from BM Reflex say, who indicate that unless nothing happens that will sharply affect the rise in oil prices, the exchangeability of prices at stations should be maintained or even lower next week.
“We expect changes that will keep prices below PLN 6 / l. At the same time, it is worth emphasizing that in the coming weeks we do not rule out average fuel prices above PLN 6 / l,” they concluded.
