Paperwork have emerged that reveal the UK courts are aiding within the serving of US authorized papers notifying Prince Andrew of a civil sexual assault case towards him.

Virginia Giuffre is looking for damages after alleging the ninth-in-line to the throne sexually assaulted her, claims he and his legal professionals have strenuously denied.

The letter from a courtroom official, dated 1 October, says the Senior Grasp of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, Queen’s Bench Division “cordially encloses the certificates of service on this matter”.

Connected to the letter is a doc headed Virginia L Guiffre v Prince Andrew Duke of York, which states its objective is to “inform the Defendant of claims towards him within the Southern District of New York and demand his response and look”.

It goes on to state the character and objective of proceedings are “to deliver claims towards the Defendant for battery and intentional infliction of emotional misery for an quantity to be decided by a jury at trial”.

A separate hooked up doc confirms the papers have been delivered to Prince Andrew’s official residence in Windsor, the place it was signed for by a police officer.

The 61-year-old has been accused by Ms Giuffre’s legal professionals of “actively evading” formal efforts to serve him the papers.
