Prince William and Kate’s first official joint portrait launched | UK Information

A brand new portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has been launched.

Painted by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth, it was commissioned in 2021 by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund, held by the Cambridge Neighborhood Basis, as a present to Cambridgeshire.

It’s the first official joint portrait of the couple – and contains using a hexagonal architectural motif which may be seen on buildings throughout Cambridge.

Members of the general public will be capable to view the portrait on the College of Cambridge’s Fitzwilliam Museum for an preliminary interval of three years, after which the paintings might be exhibited in different neighborhood areas and galleries round Cambridgeshire.

The portray will even be loaned to the Nationwide Portrait Gallery for a short while in 2023 to mark the gallery’s reopening.
