Former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro announced the death of Ewa Bialik, prosecutor and spokeswoman of the National Prosecutor's Office. Bialik died at the age of 58. “She was a model of professionalism, always reliable and kind,” he wrote on the X platform.
Information about the death of prosecutor Ewa Bialik was provided on Saturday morning by the portal moja-ostroleka.pl. “On Friday, August 30, at the age of 58, prosecutor Ewa Bialik, known primarily as the spokeswoman for the National Prosecutor's Office, died. She held this position in the years 2016-2021. She began her prosecutorial career in OstroÅ‚Ä™ka, where she worked in both prosecutor's offices: the District and the Regional,” it reported.
Later on Saturday, former Minister of Justice and former Prosecutor General Zbigniew Ziobro expressed condolences on social media over the death of prosecutor Ewa Bialik.
“Ewa Bialik, a distinguished prosecutor, long-time spokesperson for the National Prosecutor's Office, valued by journalists, fellow prosecutors and judges, has died. She was a model of professionalism, always reliable and kind. She left too soon, she still had a lot of good to do. It is a great loss. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones,” Ziobro wrote on the X platform.
Studies and professional career
The portal moja-ostroleka.pl reminded us that prosecutor Bialik graduated from law studies at the University of Warsaw. She began her work in the justice system in 1990 with a judicial apprenticeship, which she completed with a judge's exam. “After serving as a prosecutor in the years 1993-1995, she was appointed to the position of prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in OstroÅ‚Ä™ka. In 2005, she completed a year-long seminar on the European Convention on Human Rights organized by the Information Office of the Council of Europe,” the publication noted.
In 2008, Bialik completed the European Law Studies for Prosecutors organized by the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and in 2010, postgraduate studies in economics and commercial law for prosecutors conducted by the Warsaw School of Economics.
“In 2016, Ewa Bialik became a prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in OstroÅ‚Ä™ka. She soon took up the position of spokeswoman for the National Prosecutor's Office. “She worked there as a delegated prosecutor from the Civic Platform in OstroÅ‚Ä™ka.
