The 34-year-old woman who transported three 10-year-olds in her car in Proszowice (Małopolska) had almost a per mille of alcohol in her system: her daughter and two children of her friends. The woman now faces up to three years in prison.
A 34-year-old resident of the Kraków district behaved extremely irresponsibly when she was transporting three children in a Ford passenger car on Sunday (11 August) while under the influence of alcohol.

The woman was stopped for a road check in Proszowice near Krakow. The 34-year-old was transporting three 10-year-old girls in the car. One of them was her daughter, the other two were children of her friends.
As it turned out, the driver should not have gotten in the car in the first place. A sobriety test showed she had almost a per mille of alcohol in her system.
“In addition to having her driving license suspended for driving under the influence, the woman also faces a penalty of up to three years in prison, a driving ban, a high fine, and perhaps even the confiscation of the vehicle she was driving,” the Małopolska police reported in a statement.
On the same day, police took away the driving license of a 66-year-old driver from the Proszowice district who had half a per mille of alcohol in his system. On Saturday, officers detained three drunk drivers in the Proszowice district, including two car drivers and one cyclist.
