A volunteer firefighter is one of the victims of an accident in Przęsławice (Masovian Voivodeship). He was the driver of one of the trucks that burst into flames.
On Tuesday morning, a tanker collided with a truck in Przęsławice (Grójec poviat) on national road number 50. After a head-on collision trucks caught fire and two people died.
– Two trucks collided, including a tanker transporting flammable products. As a result of the incident, the cars caught fire. Unfortunately, after the fire was extinguished, two bodies were discovered in the cabins – reported Agnieszka Wójcik, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Grójec.
The road was blocked in both directions for many hours.

A volunteer of the Helenów Volunteer Fire Department died
A few hours after the tragic incident, it was reported on the social media of the Volunteer Fire Department in Helenów that one of the victims was a friend of the local Volunteer Fire Department.
“It is with deep sadness that we received the news that on October 31, 2023, our colleague and long-time friend of the Helenów Volunteer Fire Department, Adam, died tragically (…). We express our condolences to his wife, son, parents and loved ones. See you later, Adam,” they wrote.
As senior brigade tells us. Andrzej Ledzion from the State Fire Service in Gostynin, the deceased firefighter was not on duty and performed a private job. He was a member of the Helenów Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years. – He acted as a rescuer and rescuer-driver – informs Ledzion.
