Two people died in an accident on national road number 50. On Tuesday morning, two trucks, including a tanker, collided in Przęsławice (Masovian Voivodeship). Then there was a fire. The route is blocked.
The accident occurred after 5 a.m. on the Mszczonów-Grójec section, in the town of Przęsławice near Pniewami. According to firefighters from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Grójec, two trucks collided, and after the accident the vehicles started burning.
“Two people died on the spot. A total of 12 fire trucks are working at the scene,” they said on social media.
The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways announced after 6 a.m. that the road was blocked. Road workers estimated that the disruptions may last several hours.
