After the chase, police officers from Radom detained two men in the Przytyk commune. The third person traveling in the Toyota managed to escape and was arrested the next day. The driver will be held responsible for failing to stop and driving under the influence of alcohol.

In recent days, police officers from the Radom traffic police have been conducting “Sobriety” activities. While checking the sobriety of vehicle drivers in the commune of Przytyk, they wanted to stop a Toyota vehicle for inspection.

The car drove into the field and the men ran away

– The driver ignored the officers’ commands, did not stop and started running away. It didn’t take long for the police to react, they immediately started chasing him. The car drove into a field and three men ran out of the vehicle and began to flee on foot. Two men were captured by police after a chase, said Justyna Jaśkiewicz from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Radom.

The detainees, aged 25 and 26, were drunk. – As shown by the breathalyzer test, the younger man had almost 1.7 per mille of alcohol in his body, while the second one had 0.4 per mille. At the scene, activities were carried out with the participation of a forensic technician who secured all traces in the car, Jaśkiewicz assured.

The next day they arrested the third one

The police found a bag with a white substance in the vehicle, which was sent for laboratory tests. The men were taken to police custody. The next day, a 35-year-old man was arrested and left the scene.

– After sobering up, the 25-year-old was charged. He will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, which is punishable by up to three years in prison, and for failing to stop for a police check, and this offense is punishable by up to five years, Jaśkiewicz summed up.
