He overtook at the intersection and at pedestrian crossings, exceeded the speed by more than 80 kilometers per hour in a built-up area, blocked the way of another driver – the police charged the motorcyclist with over 20 offenses, which they valued at PLN 27,000 and 205 penalty points. The case went to court because the man also committed a crime – he did not stop for inspection, which is punishable by up to five years in prison.
On Saturday, police officers from the Speed group from Pszczyna tried to stop a 32-year-old resident of Katowice, who was riding a motorcycle with a passenger on national road number 1. – They wanted to check whether he had a driving license – explains Jadwiga Śmietana, spokeswoman for the police in Pszczyna.
The man did not stop for control and the chase began through three cities: Pszczyna, Tychy and Bieruń.

Police said the 32-year-old Honda driver committed more than 20 offenses during the getaway. A fragment of the chase can be seen in the recording that was released by the officers.
– The case is handled by the police department of misdemeanors. Police officers are still analyzing the recording of the pursuit of the motorcyclist. It is already known that he exceeded the speed limit several times. In a built-up area with a speed limit of 50 kilometers per hour, he was driving 132 kilometers per hour. Four times he sold out on a pedestrian crossing or directly in front of the crossings, as well as at the intersection, he did not comply with the vertical and horizontal signs – Lists Śmietana.
The motorcyclist was also supposed to pose a direct threat to himself, the passenger with whom he was traveling and another driver – by suddenly leaving the road in front of him. – It was a hair away from a collision – emphasizes Śmietana.

The man was finally detained in Bieruń, and a day later, on Sunday, he was interrogated. Turns out he had a driver’s license. He was also sober.
– He explained that he did not stop for a roadside inspection because his motorcycle does not have current technical examinations and compulsory third-party liability insurance – we read in the police release.

The police fined him 27,000 zlotys for the offences. – The amount was charged based on the highest possible range according to the tariff – explains the police spokeswoman. The motorcyclist’s behavior was assessed by the officers at 205 penalty points.
The case was referred to court because the police officers also accuse the motorcyclist of failing to stop at a roadside inspection, which is punishable by up to five years in prison.
After the questioning, the man returned home, but he is not allowed to get on the motorcycle – the police revoked his driving license for three months.
