The search is ongoing for a woman who entered a bank in Puławy, masked, threatened the cashier, stole money and ran away – said Commissioner Ewa Rejn-Kozak from the District Police Headquarters in Puławy on Friday afternoon.
As the press officer of the Puławy police station, Ewa Rejn-Kozak, told PAP, the bank robbery at ul. May 3 in Puławy (Lublin Voivodeship) took place on Friday around 15.30. – A masked woman entered the facility. Holding a knife, she asked the cashier in a vulgar manner to give her the money immediately, the policewoman said.
Initially, the cashier did not comply with the request, but after repeating the threat, she handed over the money. – The woman packed them in a plastic shopping bag and ran away – said Rejn-Kozak.
“We are checking all possible leads”
Officers from Puławy, supported by colleagues from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Lublin, are examining the scene of the incident, determining the woman’s identity, analyzing CCTV footage and looking for the attacker. – We are checking all possible leads – she added.
Asked whether the incident might be related to a bank robbery made on October 25 this year. in Kurów (Lubelskie) stated that “we do not rule out any possibility.”
