Qantas says its chief monetary officer Vanessa Hudson will develop into its subsequent chief government

SYDNEY — Australian airline Qantas Group stated Tuesday chief monetary officer Vanessa Hudson will develop into its subsequent chief government and managing director, changing Alan Joyce in November.

Hudson has been with the airline in numerous roles for 28 years.

Joyce was appointed Qantas CEO in 2008 and agreed in 2020 to stay on the helm by the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic.
