A 30-year-old from Racibórz was charged with 44 counts of destruction of property. For several years, he had been destroying facades in various parts of the city, putting various inscriptions on them. The man pleaded guilty and the building owners' losses were estimated at over PLN 80,000.

As the Racibórz police station reported on Wednesday, the local officers had been dealing with this case for several months.

“Based on the analysis of the collected evidence, the criminal investigators determined that the person behind these acts of vandalism was a 30-year-old resident of the Racibórz district, who is currently serving a sentence in prison for other crimes,” the police said.

According to the findings of the proceedings, the man has been destroying facades since 2021. He pleaded guilty to all 44 criminal charges he heard in the case. The court will decide on his further fate. He faces up to five years in prison for his crimes.
