The tenement house was undergoing water and sewage installation work when the disaster occurred. The owner of the renovation and construction company, who directly supervised the renovation, was found guilty of causing it. However, he appealed the judgment of the court of first instance.

The partial collapse of a tenement house at ul. 25 Czerwca 14 in Radom occurred in February 2022. The action on site lasted over seven hours. Access to the building from ul. 25 Czerwca was impossible due to the entrance gate covered with rubble. Rescuers had to go around the building to find another access route. They managed to get in from ul. Prażmowskiego. There were residents in the inner courtyard who had left their apartments before the arrival of the rescue services. They reported that there were elderly, sick and partially mobility-impaired people in several premises. Everyone was evacuated, no one was injured.
