One of the police officers was detained in the Radom police station, suspected of giving false testimony and reporting a crime that did not take place. It’s about a fire in December last year. The woman faces expulsion from service and up to eight years in prison.
The information about the arrest of the officer was confirmed by subinsp. Katarzyna Kucharska from the press team of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom.
– On March 7, 2023, police officers from the Police Internal Affairs Bureau, commissioned by the Radom-Wschód District Prosecutor’s Office, detained one of the police officers at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Radom. Two days later, the officer was suspended from her duties, disciplinary proceedings were instituted against her, and the provincial police chief based in Radom agreed to the request of the municipal police chief in Radom and decided to initiate administrative proceedings to expel the officer on the basis of an important interest services, she said.
