The Mazowiecki police informed about a police chase and the arrest of a 22-year-old man who did not stop for a road check. During the escape, the man lost control of the car and hit the support of the overpass in Radom. The driver and two passengers were taken to the hospital. The father of the perpetrator, who was wanted on a warrant, came to collect the damaged car.

As Dorota Wiatr-Kurzawa from the Radom police informed on Monday, a few days ago, traffic policemen on one of the streets of Radom noticed an Opel that suddenly moved at the traffic lights. – Officers measured the speed of the vehicle with a result of 75 kilometers per hour in a built-up area. The driver, despite the commands given by the uniform to stop the vehicle, started to run away, the policewoman reported.

The son did not have a driver’s license

While escaping along Młodyjanowska Street, the Opel hit the support of the viaduct. The 22-year-old driver and two passengers, aged 14 and 21, were injured. All three were transported to the hospital.

After checking the police databases, it turned out that the 22-year-old did not have a driving license.

Father was wanted

Since there was no one left to secure the damaged vehicle, the driver asked his father for help. – When the man came to pick up the car, the police officers checked him against the police systems. It turned out that he was wanted on a warrant to serve a prison sentence. He was detained, a spokeswoman for the Radom police said.

The police reminds that failure to stop for an inspection is punishable by imprisonment of up to five years, the court also orders a driving ban.
