Policemen from Radomsko (Łódź Voivodeship) detained a 20-year-old driver who exceeded speed by 82 kilometers per hour in built-up areas. The man only received his driving license five months ago. Now he has lost them
On Monday evening, policemen from the road traffic department checked the speed of cars on Przedborska Street in Radomsko. Among other things, they inspected a BMW with a 20-year-old man behind the wheel. Commissioner Aneta Wlazłowska from the city headquarters of Radom informs that the officers had no objection to him, because – in accordance with the applicable restriction – he traveled 50 kilometers per hour.
He sped up, passing the police car
As the man passed the police car, he was probably carried away by fantasy and accelerated rapidly. The policemen took a speed measurement. In the built-up area, it accelerated to 132 kilometers per hour – says the policewoman.
The officers chased the driver and quickly stopped the speeding BMW.
– During the inspection, it turned out that the young driver had had a driving license for only a few months – says Commissioner Wlazłowska.
The 20-year-old got a fine, received ten penalty points and lost his driving license for three months.
