Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski reported in “Facts after Facts” on TVN24 that on Monday evening he talked with his Iranian counterpart about the security of the Polish diplomatic mission in Tehran. He said that the bullets fired by Israel hit our embassy, but Polish diplomats are safe.
The head of diplomacy spoke in the program about the situation related to the conflict of Israel with Iran. No between countries The exchange of fire ceases, both sides are killed and wounded, and the leaders of both countries are managing further threats against each other.
– We all want to avoid further escalation. In this spirit I talked two hours ago with the Iranian Foreign Minister. I am in constant contact with our institutions, in Tehran and in Tel Aviv – he said Radosław Sikorski.
He said that the conversation concerned primarily the security of the Polish diplomatic mission. This is related to the fact that on Monday Israeli forces attacked the building of state television IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) in Tehran. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the headquarters of television houses in a diplomatic district.
– These bullets hit our embassy, but our diplomats are safe – said Sikorski.
