– At the moment I am in Irpień, right next to it is Bucza, Hostomel. The battle for Kiev took place here in the first weeks of the war. Irpień was occupied for three months. The population is coming back, there are many signs of recovery and a return to normal life, he added.

As he added, “Ukrainians have no control of the air.” – The Russian army is entrenched, they had half a year to do it, so it will be a very difficult operation. We know there are losses.
