Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski announced that he had talked to the new US Secretary of State, Mark Rubio. After the conversation, he assessed that “Polish-American friendship has strong foundations.”
Marco Rubio, a Republican Party politician and longtime member of the Senate Foreign Affairs and Intelligence Committees, stayed confirmed by the Senate as US Secretary of State. Last Tuesday, he was sworn into this position by Vice President JD Vance.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducted a conversation with the new US Secretary of State on Thursday Radosław Sikorski. In an entry published on X, he pointed out that “it showed that Polish-American friendship has strong foundations.”
“Marco, we have many challenges ahead of us, but the alliance of Poland, Europe and the United States will cope with them,” Sikorski appealed in the post.
