During a friendly gathering, one of the women poured biofuel onto an open flame above the fireplace. It exploded. Three women, aged 24 to 44, were taken to hospital.
The incident took place on Saturday after 9 p.m. on the premises of one of the private properties at Skotnicka Street in Radzionków.
– According to initial findings by Radzionków police officers working on the scene, during a friendly meeting, one of the women poured biofuel onto an open flame rising above a bio-fireplace, which resulted in an explosion. The victims of this incident were two women from Bytom, aged 24 and 51, and the 44-year-old owner of the property – said junior asp. Kamil Kubica, District Police Headquarters in Tarnowskie Góry.
One of the women was taken away by the LPR helicopter.
All the injured women were taken to hospital – two were transported by ambulance, one was taken by an emergency medical service helicopter.
