On Friday evening in Radzymin, a Koleje Mazowieckie train crashed into an Alfa Romeo abandoned on the tracks. The car was completely crushed. Luckily no one was inside.

The incident took place around 9 p.m. near Weteranów Street in Radzymin. “Due to the accident at the railroad crossing, the traffic of all trains on the section Radzymin – Wieliszew was completely stopped” – informed on Friday around 21.30 the Fast Urban Railway.

As the reporter tvnwarszawa.pl Artur Węgrzynowicz found out, the cause of the difficulties was a collision with a passenger car that someone had left on the tracks, outside the railway crossing. – There was no one inside. A railroad bus of Koleje Mazowieckie between Sierpc and Tłuszcz hit the car, Węgrzynowicz reported.

This course of events was confirmed by the police. – Preliminary findings show that yesterday in Radzymin, at Weteranów Street, around 9 pm, a Sierpc-Tłuszcz train hit an Alfa Romeo vehicle left on the railway tracks. No one was in the car during the incident. The train service was sober. As a result of this incident, no one was injured, said Bartłomiej Śniadała from the Capital Police Headquarters on Saturday morning.
