The driver of the Fiat did not stop at the police control in Praga Północ. The policemen started a chase, which ended in Targówek with a collision of the escaping driver. The man was arrested.
The incident took place before 1 p.m., at Radzyminska Street. – The policemen wanted to stop the Fiat driver. The latter, however, ignored the light signals and continued driving – informs Gabriela Putyra from the press department of the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
As he adds, the policemen followed the Fiat. The chase ended in Targówek, at 100 Radzyminska St., where the driver hit a pole and was then stopped.
Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl was there. – According to witnesses, the chase began on Szwedzka Street. Two people traveled in the chased car. During the chase, the car hit two lanterns, breaking the front wheel – he described.
He also noted that several crews participated in the action. “It seems that nobody has been hurt,” said Węgrzynowicz.
