– The world is changing. You can't interfere that you have to swim, because if not, we'll drown like a stone. If something has already been achieved, then you can not sit on laurels, but constantly increase the bar, because this is the essence of humanity – said the president of InPost Rafał Brzoska during the Impact'25 event in Poznań. – Deregulation is not only getting rid of absurd regulations from the 90s, it is also development projects – he emphasized.
Poles work too little? “Chinese open popcorn”
The speech of Rafał Brzoska in Poznań can be compared to the motivational speech of the coach during the match break. In addition to the fact that it lasted about 15 minutes, it had a goal – to inspire and encourage Poles to work for Poland and the Polish economy. – I see how inevitably we sit on our laurels, how we stopped raising the bar, how we stop winning in a global race. Bureaucracy and reluctance to the work ethos are smoldering us. Entrepreneurship is suppressed – mentioned the president of InPost. He added that “everything we have built our competitive advantages on begins to end”.
The president of Inpost told an anecdote about why the American giant decided to build a large factory in Poland, and not in other European countries. “Diligence and mathematics at the high school diploma” was to decide about this. – This advantage will end for a while and if we do not stimulate the work ethos. If we do not work on the next engines of our Polish growth, we will simply lose in the world. We are talking about a four -day work day today. Four -day working day, maybe three days, and why is the uncomfortable one? (…) Did we come to the point where the Ministry of Labor wants to become a “ministry Unemployment“? – Rafał Brzoska asked rhetorically.
Our Chinese trading partners say simply: “We open popcorn, seeing what you are trying to do with your productivity in Europe.” We do not have to compete with you even more, even more, because you are taking away the chance to win in the global race
– continues the president of InPostu.
Artificial intelligence will change the labor market? “300 million jobs will disappear”
During the speech of Rafał Brzoska, there was also a topic artificial intelligencewhich in his words, It can cost the world a loss of 300 million jobs. This means that even 1/4 of the labor market may disappear. – We stopped being the cheapest country in which cars are mounted, wipers to cars and household appliances. If we do not notice how much our world is changing, we will lose in this race. Why is it so crucial? Well, because this is where this great chance appears. A chance for a completely new opening towards new technologies – emphasized Rafał Brzoska.
The use of this “great chance” is to be (and how!) Deregulation. – Deregulation, which is being talked about so much, is crucial. It has nothing to do with current politics. We were able to build a consensus above the political division. We managed to create new grounds to give the impulse that the European Union gave us and return to the path of healthy growth – said the president of InPostu. He emphasized that as much as 30 percent Projects prepared by the Deregulation Team are about digitization. He pointed out that Polish ambition should be an GDP increase of 6 % and even more.
Poland will set direction to Europe? The ambitious plan of Rafał Brzoski
– You do not know about it yet, but in 2026 and 2027 each of us will stop buying in a way that he has been buying so far. And remember my words because those who see which side the wind of change will win. And all those who will be stuck in an old economy based on bureaucratic, dead, but also very dangerous activist and left views will lose this race. Why is it so important? Because Europe can't see it. Europe is like a colossus, sleepy, not ready for development, not ready to reflect – said Rafał Brzoska. – We, as Poles, should do everything to try to change it. Without leaving the Union, without being only an opponent, being an example that you can make changes to the way a completely different way can be made. And we, as Poles, can also show this through deregulation – he added.
Rafał Brzoski's team is to submit 450 projects of broadly understood deregulation by the end of May. His boss admitted that he was counting about 60 percent. of them, which would be a double increase in the result of the changes adopted when Poland entered the European Union. – This team is so important – not because how many projects they announced, how many experts work in it. Not because it is to be the beginning of the end of bureaucracy or fighting with offices. This team is the beginning perhaps a change in approach to how we should define, the country we live in, how it will look in 5-10 years. It can make changes at European level – he added.
