He came from Uzbekistan to work as a driver. However, he had to get a Polish driving license. He found a “offer of help in accelerating the legalization process of stay” and used her. Now Uzbek is in serious trouble, he faces up to five years in prison.

– During the Friday inspection, on May 30, in Raszyn, a citizen of Uzbekistan, showed a passport in which the print of Stampili of the Wielkopolska Voivode was located (this confirmation of submitting the application for a temporary/permanent residence/long -term resident of the EU – ed.). It aroused the suspicions of officers as to the authenticity. There were also no signs of submitting an application for a temporary residence permit in the ICT system. The hypothesis was accepted that Stampila was fake – says Dagmara Bielec from the Border Guard Department.

Uzbek was detained in connection with the suspected crime of using a counterfeit official document. His passport and the Bulgarian residence card were also secured, which was in the Border Guard systems as an annulled document.

He admitted that he took advantage of the “help offer”

– During the conversation with officers, held in the presence of the translator, he admitted that he obtained Stampila through an online announcement. According to his explanations, another foreigner performed the service, who “offered help in accelerating the legalization process of stay”. He took advantage of this offer, because he wanted to quickly obtain a Polish driving license necessary to work in a person transport company. Its release requires having appropriate confirmation in the passport from the voivode – adds Dagmara Bielec.

Uzbek confessed to the alleged act and gave explanations. After their completion, he was released. However, he will face a visit to court and punishment.

Art. 270 § 1. Who, in order to use as authentic, reproduces or processes a document or such a document as an authentic, is subject to the penalty of deprivation of liberty from 3 months to 5 years.
