RCB alert against smog throughout Poland. In these voivodeships it is better to stay at home

RCB Alert: The Government Security Center warns that on Friday, December 27, the forecast ist bad air quality “in terms of PM10 suspended dust”, or in other words, smog. “Give up outdoor activities” – information with this content was sent to residents of three voivodeships.

Where is it better to stay at home? RCB Alert received by residents of: poviats of the Silesian Voivodeship (Rybnik, Żory, Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Rybnik, Mikołowski, Racibórz, Cieszyn, Zabrze, Bytom, Piekary Śląskie, Ruda Śląska, Świętochłowice) and the Kłodzko poviat in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and Opole. Due to polluted air, we recommend: give up walks outdoorspracticing sports outside and limiting the ventilation of rooms.

Air quality in Poland: The terrible air quality was also reported on the Polish Radio's climate service at 12:00. It was warned that the air quality was bad or very bad in the south of the Lower Silesian, Opole and Silesian voivodeships. It's similar too in the belt from Katowice to Łódź. However, optimistic data comes from western and northern Poland. The air quality there is very good. In the southeast – mostly the air is also good.
