Over 100 crates of beer fell from the truck onto the national road number 10 in Recz (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). As determined by the police, the driver did not secure the transported cargo. Nothing happened to anyone.
The incident took place on Monday at around 8 am. The services received a notification of a spilled beer load on the national road number 10 in the town of Recz.
– The truck was driving from Wałcz towards Recz. Most likely, the driver did not secure the transported load and when the vehicle on the curve of the road turned right, the load with the load tilted to the left. This caused the beer bottles to fall out, says Sgt. staff. Magda Keplin from the County Police Headquarters in Choszczno.
As the st. Asp. Stanisław Rydz from the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Choszczno destroyed over 100 crates of beer.
The driver was instructed
Firemen from Choszczno, volunteers from Recz and Nętków and the police took part in the on-site activities. Within several dozen minutes, the damaged crates and broken bottles were cleaned up.
Sergeant staff. Magda Keplin adds that no one was hurt in the incident. The truck driver was sober. He received a letter from the officers for not securing the cargo.
