Law and Justice is trying to use all the fears of Polish women and men for its political purposes, and above all for the upcoming elections, said Robert Biedroń, MEP of the Left, referring to the narrative and actions of the ruling camp regarding migrants. Michał Kobosko from Poland 2050 assessed that the referendum announced by PiS on this matter “answers to a problem that does not exist”. The ruling camp’s migration policy was defended by Law and Justice MP Marcin Horała and Presidential Minister Andrzej Dera.

Head of the Civic Platform Donald Tusk posted a recording on his Twitter profile last Sunday in which he refers to the issue of migration policy. – We watch shocked scenes of brutal riots in France – and right now (Deputy Prime Minister, PiS leader Jarosław – ed.) Kaczyński is preparing a document thanks to which even more citizens from countries such as, and I quote: Saudi Arabia, India, the Islamic Republic of Iran will come to Poland , Qatar, Arab Emirates, Nigeria or the Islamic Republic of Pakistan – Tusk said. – Kaczyński already imported over 130,000 from such countries last year. citizens – 50 times more than in 2015. These visas can be obtained easily and quickly, and they will be distributed by external companies, because there are so many orders, said the PO leader.

The draft regulation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the countries where foreigners may apply for a visa by the minister responsible for foreign affairs was published in June on the government website. – An efficient government, which is the Law and Justice cabinet, is able to react to such wrong initiatives. This was the case with this regulation. The official initiative, which was a definite mistake, was recognized and stopped, Kaczyński said in an interview with PAP published on Wednesday.

The case in “Kawa na Ława” was commented on by: Urszula Pasławska (Polish People’s Party), Bartosz Arłukowicz (Civic Coalition), Marcin Horała (Law and Justice), Michał Kobosko (Poland 2050), Robert Biedroń (Left) and Andrzej Dera (Office of the President of the Republic of Poland).

Arłukowicz: Jarosław Kaczyński is withdrawing with cancer

– This government produced a regulation allowing 400,000 de facto uncontrolled migrants to enter Poland. I pose a question and demand an answer – who stimulated the government to produce this regulation, who was behind it – some special services or shady businessmen – that you prepare a regulation that de facto opens the door to Poland for uncontrolled migrants? – asked KO MEP Bartosz Arłukowicz.

He added that “it needs to be clarified who was the intermediary who imported these people to Poland, who – to put it bluntly – probably earns millions of zlotys”. “It will all be explained,” he said.

– This regulation is a clear proof that someone told the government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials: “we need to open the door wider” and the government did it politely – assessed Arłukowicz. – Jarosław Kaczyński is now withdrawing from cancer and migrants, he is trying to use it in the election campaign. There is no consent to this, we will expose Jarosław Kaczyński’s hypocrisy every day, he pointed out.

Horała: PO plays the sketch “Poland for Poles”

According to PiS deputy Marcin Horała, “The Civic Platform playing the sketch ‘Poland for Poles’ (…) is something that is only suitable for a cabaret, not for a serious discussion.” – We know the difference of opinion in this regard between Law and Justice and Civic Platform. This has been repeatedly confirmed by deeds, by those who, for example, agreed to the forced allocation of so-called refugees to Poland, and who blocked it, he said.

“A platform that is now doing a pirouette, a 180-degree turn, and will now pretend to be to the right of the Confederation on this issue, this is absolute cabaret,” he reiterated.

Horała emphasized that the government did not accept the regulation, but only consulted it. – That’s what this procedure is for, to consider different ideas. In this case, the Ministry of the Interior said that it was a bad idea, it was the government that decided that there would be no such regulation, he said.

Biedroń: we spend valuable time discussing a problem that does not exist

– I am terrified that such a serious matter concerning the security of Poland, but also the future of Polish women and men, is turned into a political circus and spectacle – said Robert Biedroń, MEP of the Left. – For the last few years, knowing that Poland is not a lonely island when it comes to the European Union, nothing has been done in this matter. (…) This matter has been completely neglected when it comes to any reasonable migration policy for Poland. Such a policy has not been developed in all the recent years, not only the eight years of rule by Law and Justice, he said.

– Law and Justice – and this is the most disgusting – is trying to use all the fears of Polish women and men for its political purposes, and above all for the upcoming elections – he assessed.

He stated that “The left has a reasonable proposal regarding, above all, the security of our country, that is, we must, as a political class, make Poles feel safe.” – Secondly – verification and integration of these people – he added.

– We spend this precious time discussing a problem that does not exist, which is invented, because everyone at this table agrees that we are against the forced relocation of refugees – he commented.

Pasławska: the auction is on, who will beat the migrants more

PSL MP Urszula Pasławska assessed that “today there is an auction over who will hurt migrants more, and not what to do to create a migration policy.” – The problem is that it is difficult to talk to you about this topic, because you shallow everything down to the political level. You threaten with the influx of migrants, and you can’t cope with what is there – she said, addressing the representatives of the ruling camp.

The PSL politician also referred to the referendum on migrants announced by PiS, which will most likely take place at the same time as the parliamentary elections. – This is not an act of referendum, but it is a political tool used by Law and Justice in the parliamentary campaign, financed from public funds – she said.

Kobosko: the referendum answers a problem that does not exist

– The whole concept of this referendum is to give people an additional voting card and on this card there will be a question entitled: “Are you for the government or against the government” – assessed the first vice-president of Poland 2050 Michał Kobosko. “This referendum is something made up of a finger, it answers a problem that does not exist,” he repeated.

In his opinion, “this is creating a problem that does not exist today.” – This is a serious problem in the countries of the European Union. (…) We are in a completely different situation – he stressed.

He emphasized that the draft EU regulation “says very clearly that if a country finds itself in a situation of migratory pressure or pressure from refugees – which is what we experienced in connection with war in Ukraine We’ll be released.”

Dera: Poland acts in the interests of investors

The government’s migration policy was defended by Presidential Minister Andrzej Dera. – When a Korean concern builds a plant in Police and people from India and Bangladesh worked there, is there a problem or something happened there? They’ve already left and nothing has happened,” he said.

– Poland acts in the interest of investors who build in Poland (…), it checks all these people, they are obliged to comply with the legal order and we have no problem with that. We have a problem with those who do not want to undergo these procedures and who are now to be forcibly incorporated into other countries. What are we supposed to do with them? – added.

– The whole thing with migration in recent years was caused by the wrong German policy, because it was the German market that needed it and did not check it, he said: “Come to us, because we will accept any amount” – the politician assessed.
